La Bella Vita Health and Wellness will guarantee weight loss with the following terms and conditions:
- La Bella Vita will only guarantee a minimum amount of weight loss for patients who are enrolled in our 6 week HCG+ program, which includes analysis of the patients thyroid and adrenal gland levels. All of our other programs are not included in this guarantee.
- The amount of weight loss to be guaranteed will be agreed upon by both the doctors at La Bella Vita and the patient. The amount will vary from patient to patient and will be determined by our doctors based on the following factors: patient’s starting weight, BMI, body fat percentage, free fat mass, age, height and gender.
- The patient must adhere strictly to the diet plan set out by La Bella Vita for the guarantee to be in effect. Any variations from the plan will void all guarantees of weight loss.
- The patient must keep a food log of everything that is consumed every day, and bring that log in to the clinic at each visit.
- The patient may be subject to a Ketone test if strict adherence to the diet is in question.
- The patient must read the book Life is Hard, Food is Easy: The 5-Step Plan to Overcome Emotional Eating and Lose Weight on Any Diet by Linda Spangle.
- The patient must journal the exercises laid out in the book that deal with emotional eating and be prepared to discuss these exercises with our doctors.
- The patient must come into our clinic at least once every 7 days to weigh in and to discuss with our doctors the food journal and emotional eating exercises that have been recorded.
- La Bella Vita Health & Wellness CANNOT guarantee weight loss if the patient is diabetic or taking the following medications:
- All steroids
- Benzodiazepines
- Injectable treatments for rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, or psoriasis
In the event that all conditions above are met and the patient still hasn’t met the agreed upon weight loss goal, La Bella Vita will continue to treat the patient at NO ADDITIONAL COST to the patient until that goal is achieved.
